As the title of the show
Deadliest Catch connotes, there are apparent high risks of death and injury because of the conditions of the sea which is emphasized throughout the show. Mike Rowe serves as the narrator of the series. Each episode showcases a particular story or situation that occurs on one or more ships. The thrill of the show mostly involves watching the crew make their fishing quota and more importantly making it home safe. The cast includes Sig Hansen, Northwestern captain, Jerry Tilley, Aleutain Ballard captain, Edgar Hansen, Northwestern engineer and deck boss, Norman Hansen, Northwestern deckhand and many more.
Deadliest Catch is produced by Thom Beers. It airs Tuesdays 9:00 PM on Discovery.
