Sandra Robinson, also known as Ferguson, will soon be gracing the town of Salem as she joins
Days of our Lives next month. The 41-year-old actress will be appearing as the character Dr. Charlotte Taylor. Not much is known about her storyline so fans will just have to stay tuned and find out when she makes her
Days of our Lives debut on December 1.
Robinson is no stranger to the soap circuit. Though she began her showbiz career when she was named Miss Pennsylvania USA in 1985, she eventually ventured into daytime drama upon joining the cast of
Another World as Amanda Cory, a role she originally played from 1987 to 1993. Following the casting of two other actresses, Christine Tucci and Laura Moss, she returned in 1998 and remained on the show until it ended in 1999.
After landing guest roles on numerous TV series, Robinson appeared as Sandy Carruthers on the action drama series
Renegade prior to getting cast temporarily as Brooke Logan on
The Bold and the Beautiful in 1997. She also portrayed sexy jewel thief Jade Sheridan on
Sunset Beach, a role unlike any other character she played before.
In 2005, Robinson joined
General Hospital as the recurring role of Felicia Scorpio-Jones but has since been written off as the character is presently referred as being out of town. Her most recent credits include
Criminal Minds, Zoey 101, and
Two and a Half Men.
In addition to
Days of our Lives, Robinson has also been cast in the upcoming war flick called
Georgian: Warrior of Honor, which is about a Georgian family's fight for freedom from the year 1921 to present. Robinson will be playing a news reporter in the movie, joining co-stars Dato Bakhtadze, Stacy Cole, Ella Christopher-Pantoliano, Nevin Millan, Beth Shea and Lara Romanoff, just to name a few.
