Shelley Catherine Hennig was born on January 2, 1987 in Destrehan, Louisiana. She is popularly known as Miss Louisiana Teen USA who won the Miss Teen USA title in 2004. Aside from her crown, she also won a one year modeling contract with Trump Modeling Management, and a scholarship to the School for Film and Television in New York. Since then she has been seen on television, appearing in the soap opera Passions, MTV's The Reality Show: After the Crown, and her role as Stephanie Johnson in The Days of Our Lives. Hennig is an advocate against under-age drinking because one of her older brothers had died in a drunk driving incident. She is active in organizations like C.A.D.A (Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse), Seeds of Peace, D.A.R.E., Sparrow Clubs and SHiNE.
Stephanie Johnson is portrayed by Shelley Hennig in The Days of Our Lives. Stephanie was raised by her mother alone in Los Angeles, California believing that her father was dead. She was a race car driver who fell in love with Max Brady, also a racer. However, they got into an accident and Max asked for a break up as she was recovering in the hospital. She then moved to Dayton, Ohio to accept a job offer to work for another racing team.
