Peter Reckell was born on May 7, 1955 in Elkhart, Indiana. He is a nature lover who likes bicycles, electric cars, conservation and recycling. He built his own solar-powered home, feeling strongly for the environment. He enjoys martial arts and yoga, and theater as well. He was trained at Boston Conservatory while working as a singer-waiter and later on moved to New York City to pursue his career in acting. He did an off-Broadway production of Moonchildren, and performed in The Fantasticks, Carousel, Pirates of Penzance, Jesus Christ Superstar, Guys and Dolls, Love Letters, and Death Trap. Beauregard Aurelius “Bo” Brady is played by Peter Reckell in Days of Our Lives. Bo was the product of the affair Caroline Brady had with Victor Kiriakis. His step father is Shawn Brady, who was devastated to find out his real identity. Bo has been married to Billie Reed and Hope Brady but his true love was for Hope. He has one child with Billie and three children with Hope. Bo is often seen on his motorbike and wearing his black leather jacket. He comes off as a rebel complete with his break-all-the-rules approach, earring, tattoo and bad boy attitude.
