'Days of Our Lives' Celebrity Basketball Scheduled Later this Month

James ReynoldsJames Reynolds, who stars as respected Salem police officer Abe Carver on NBC's Days of Our Lives, is holding the 19th edition of his Annual Days of Our Lives Celebrity Basketball Game.  The event is intended to benefit the South Pasadena High School Boys Basketball Program as well as the Fremont Centre Theatre.

Among those scheduled to take part are Reynolds' past and present co-stars on the long-running daytime drama.

Reynolds, who owns and operates the Fremont Centre Theatre with his wife, has been with Days of Our Lives for the past 20 years.  Throughout those two decades, he has seen a host of actors and actresses join their fold, and has also been witness to the various comings and goings of performers.

Come Friday, May 30th, he will gather together both his current and former co-stars for the 19th year of his Days of Our Lives Celebrity Basketball Game.  Among those set to participate are: Bryan Dattilo (Lucas), Kyle Brandt (former Philip Kiriakis), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla), Alison Sweeney (Sami), Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady now Rick Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful), Arianne Zuker (Nicole), Martha Madison (former Belle), Rachel Melvin (Chelsea), Shelley Henning (Stephanie Johnson), Rashann Orange (Thomas Edward Kramer), Jay Kenneth Johnson (current Philip), Patrika Darbo (Nancy Wesley), Stephen Nichols (Steve), Blake Berris (Nick) and Brandon Beemer (former Shawn).

The 19th Annual Days of Our Lives Celebrity Basketball Game will take place at the main gym of South Pasadena High School on Diamond Avenue in South Pasadena.  Doors open at 7pm, with the game set to commence at 7:30pm.  General admission tickets are at $15 while VIP tickets (only 40 pieces) are at $165 inclusive of backstage access, a team jersey, a photograph with the team, a gift basket and of course, special seats at the game.
