'Days of our Lives' Spoilers for the Week of January 14
On the previous episode of Days of our Lives, Sami (Alison Sweeney) told Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) that she will not take the blame for Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) shooting EJ (James Scott) and stormed out.
She then agreed to help EJ go up against his father.

Meanwhile, Belle (Martha Madison) was infuriated when she saw Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) bonding with Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Claire (Alina Foley).  She accused Chloe of having something to do with her brother's disappearance, and Chloe revealed that Philip was the one who took care of her legal counsel and bail.  Belle later turned her fury at Philip, accusing him of playing games and ultimately saying that she can't trust him.

Shawn and Chloe had a good time at the Brady pub, where he asked about Chloe getting some help from Philip.

Philip calls Belle to apologize, but she is still upset and unsure of his friendship.  She sees someone trying to break into her car.  Belle's police guard is shot by Rob and Crystal (Ashlee Holland), after which the two kidnap Belle and Claire and whisk them away in a van.  Later, Sami is upset with Philip for failing to inform Shawn about Belle and Claire's abduction, and Shawn ends up blaming Philip for the kidnapping.  However, the two men work together with the police to help rescue Belle and Claire.  Belle manages to escape with Claire by throwing hot coffee into Crystal's face, but unfortunately, she is accidentally knocked into the cold water, leaving Rob clear and free to take off with Claire.

At the hospital, Shawn visits an unconscious Belle and promises that he will find Claire.  As requested by Philip, Chloe distracts Shawn, and while Belle is sleeping, Philip professes her love for her and tells her that he will let her go if that's what she wants.  When Belle awakens, Philip tells her that Crystal still has Claire and comforts her when she falls apart.  Bo (Peter Reckell) doesn't think that Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) had anything to do with the kidnapping, and Shawn, in recalling the night's events, remembers Rob having a tattoo.

Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) warns Sami about trusting EJ too much.  Stefano tells EJ that he has forgiven him and goes to the pub to see Sami.  Later, a jailed Lucas wakes up and learns that Stefano is his new cellmate.
