Days of our Lives: March 6 Live Thoughts
Days of our Lives: March 6 Live Thoughts
On today's Days of our Lives, Lexie deposits Bo (Peter Reckell) back to his hospital room after a rigorous round of medical testing.  He finally drops his brave patient act for a bit and tells her that his stomach hurts all the time.  He also tells her that even though everyone is more excited about the world-famous expert, Dr. Jonas, that Victor brought in, Bo is really glad that Lexie is his main doc.

Sami (Alison Sweeney) and EJ (James Scott) bring the twins over to the pub to visit Caroline (Peggy McCay).  Caroline graciously takes the twins off of their hands even though she is busy running her business, giving Sami and EJ a chance to order some food and talk about his visa problem.

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) finds Chelsea (Rachel Melvin) moping down by the docks.  At the police station, Steve (Stephen NIchols) asks Abe (James Reynolds) about how his investigation into Ava Vitali is going.

Chelsea is beating herself up for being such a brat to Bo and Hope for all these years.  Hope assures her that Bo is a fighter and will make it through his illness.  They begin discussing Dr. Daniel Jonas' competency, when suddenly he appears out of the shadows.  Salem must be the tiniest town ever because everyone keeps running into everyone else.  He offers his sympathies for the difficult journey they are going through and promises that he'll do his very best to save Bo.  The three of them take their conversation to Bo's room to check in on the patient.

Sami and EJ have the most pointless scene in which they discuss the merits of putting ketchup on one's fries versus malt vinegar.  *Yawn!*  Then, some guy name Leonard Burke stops by.  Burke is an INS officer, and wants to talk.  Sami tries to stick around for EJ's and Burke's conversation, but Burke tells her to go away.  Burke assures him that his immigration problems are just beginning, and the fact that he's married to an American and is the father of an American child doesn't really help him.  Burke tells him distastefully that the American government is weeding out "undesirables" and based on EJ's surname, he is definitely undesirable.  EJ and Sami try to tell him that he's been disowned by the family, but Burke doesn't care.  Why they are not immediately calling him out on his unconstitutional behavior is beyond me.  Anyway, it's time for Burke to question Sami about their so-called marriage.  He manages to step on her toes, and we get to see bitchy Sami.  I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Days of our Lives needs more bitchy Sami.

Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) stops by Abe's office to tell Steve that she wants to go back to work at the hospital.  Steve gets angry and snaps at her, saying that she needs to stay home.  She wants to know what's going on with him.  Eventually, he acquiesces and gives his approval for going back to work.  Steve secretly hires a bodyguard to keep watch over Kayla.

Abe brings some paperwork about cold cases to Bo at Bo's request.  Bo starts wincing in pain, and Lexie shoos everyone out.

In Ava's apartment prison, her captor brings her food, and she mouths off to him.  She is being held captive because she has a tendency to disappear on them and sabotage planes.  Her captor Eddie works for her father, and refuses to grant her even a smidge of freedom, which doesn't go over well with her.  Still mooning about in her room, Ava mopes and thinks about the good old days when she and Patch used to frolic half-naked on beaches.  Ava pretends to cry and carry on to Eddie, sobbing that she is so lonely, and asks him to let her out for just a little bit.  Eddie is one dumb guy and falls for the act, hook, line and sinker.

Next on Days of our Lives: Kate gives Chelsea boy advice, Shawn-D re-proposes to Belle, Philip and Chloe talk about Brady again.
