Days of our Lives: April 28 Live Thoughts
Days of our Lives: April 28 Live Thoughts
Days of our Lives begins for another week.  Sami (Alison Sweeney) and EJ (James Scott) have just put the twins to bed, and it seems to have been a struggle.  EJ observes that Ali has a harder time falling asleep than Johnny does, and Sami takes that as an attack against Lucas.

Nicole has just told Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) that Victor knows exactly where Brady is and always has known.

Continuing from last Friday on Days of our Lives, the Vitali henchman has Stephanie (Shelley Hennig) at knifepoint.  He instructs her to get up and walk out of the pub without making a sound.  Max (Darin Brooks) comes back out to the bar from the back and wonders where Stephanie could have gone.

Abe (James Reynolds) and Roman (Josh Taylor) brings Ava to the police station.  She threatens that once her daddy gets involved, things will get interesting.

Chloe wants Nicole to prove how she knows that Victor knows Brady's whereabouts.  She had hacked into Victor's computer and found some clues that Brady is in a rehab clinic in Switzerland.  Chloe says that Brady had a drug problem.  Victor (John Aniston) and Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) show up unexpectedly.  Victor blames Chloe for making Brady turn to drugs.  Chloe asks Victor if what Nicole says is true.  Philip wants an explanation, so Chloe said that she introduced Brady to some of her friends, who happened to lead him into addiction.  Victor is very sore about it.  Chloe accuses Victor of framing her.  Philip demands to know why Victor didn't tell him about it either.  Victor answers that it was because he wanted Chloe to suffer.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) rush off to look for Stephanie.  Abe tells Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) that Chelsea is back in the hospital, so the two of them rush off to go see her.  I guess Hope miraculously healed her own gunshot wound since last week on Days of our Lives because she seems perfectly fine right now.

Steve asks Abe to put an APB out on Stephanie right away.  Meanwhile, the henchman takes her to a warehouse.  Max follows them, and tries to talk down the henchman.  Stephanie stupidly elbows the guy in the gut, even though he's got a knife to her throat, but luckily she manages to break free of him.  Police sirens ring out in the distance as the henchman tries to run away.  The police and Steve and Kayla arrive.  Steve, Kayla, Stephanie and Max head back to the pub.  Steve sees Victor there and tells them what's going on with Bo and Hope.  Kayla wants to put the whole experience behind her, but Steve warns them that Ava's father is still around, so they can't let their guards down quite yet.

Hope, her shoulder in a sling now, visit Chelsea (Rachel Melvin).  Dr. Daniel Jonas tells them that she has an infection now, but they're doing their best to take care of her.  Chelsea reassures Bo that if she had the opportunity to give up her pancreas to save his life, she'd do it again in a heartbeat.  Daniel says that Chelsea will definitely survive, but there is also some bad news.  She has peritonitis, inflammation of the peritoneal lining, but it has gotten so bad that it has done some irreversible damage.

Ava threatens Roman and Abe that her daddy is going to sue them for everything they're worth.  She screams that she wants to call her lawyer, so they let her make her phone call.  Roman and Abe step outside while she makes the phone call.  After her phone call, they offer her the opportunity to make a preliminary statement before they take her to booking.  Ava says that she needs Patch because he's the love of her life.  She goes on and on about her life is meaningless without Patch, and the she falls to the ground, seizing up.

In the hospital, Daniel is about to tell Chelsea what the permanent damage is, but they hear screaming outside.  Roman and Abe have brought Ava to the hospital for suicide watch.  Bo and Hope go outside to see what the commotion is all about, and Ava tells them that everything is their fault.

Daniel tells Chelsea (with Victor, Bo and Hope present) that as a result of her infection, she will not be able to have children.

Sami wants to go to bed but EJ says that they have a lot of work to do.  They've got an immigration hearing tomorrow, so they have to study up on the intimate details of each other's lives to convince the immigration people that they are happily married and in love.  Sami acts like a complete brat to EJ and impatiently tells him to get going with the questions.  But then when he asks her what his good habits are, she softens and describes the tender way he puts the twins down every night.  They bicker, but they actually prove that they know a lot about each other.  Sami isn't too hopeful about their hearing tomorrow, though.  EJ is fed up with Sami's attitude.  He gets angry and yells at her, but that is exactly the prompting that Sami needed to get back to studying.  She wants to try again.  At that moment, Nicole shows up and asks, "Try what again?"  She has dropped by for an emergency meeting with her lawyer.  Sami wants to know what Victor's secret is, so Nicole gives up the goods on Brady Black.

Chloe and Philip show up at the police station and ask Abe's help in getting her passport back.  She also wants to press charges against Victor.

Next on Days of our Lives: Paul Hollingsworth goes to the police, John confronts Victor about Brady, Daniel is beginning to get emotionally involved with Chelsea.
