Although Michelle Williams previously worked on several acting gigs, she drew attention when she portrayed Jennifer “Jen” Lindley on the teen drama
Dawson’s Creek. Her character was introduced to the show in the first episode when she arrived from New York City to live with her grandmother. Initially, she became Dawson Leery’s love interest, which caused tension for Joey Potter. Later, she also got involved with C.J., Pacey Witter, and Charlie Todd. In the end, it was revealed that she had a baby named Amy and that Jen eventually died of a heart condition.
