Ann Curry was born on November 19, 1956. She began working as an intern at KTVL in Medford Oregon where she became the station's first female news reporter. Eventually, she received two Emmy Awards for her performance in KCBS-TV in Los Angeles, California. In addition, she was an honorary board member of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. She also received the National Journalism Award of the Asian American Journalists Association. Moreover, she was popularly known for her inclusion in The Today Show.
