After seven weeks, the reality dating show
Date My Ex: Jo and Slade wraps up its season with its eight and final episode tonight at 10pm on Bravo.
To those who need a refresher,
Date My Ex: Jo and Slade is a spin-off of another Bravo show
The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Jo De La Rosa and
Slade Smiley both appeared on the show's first two seasons. After cutting off their engagement, they've broken up but somehow remained friends, and now Slade is helping his ex-fiancé find a suitable man. Now the “suitors” all end up living with Slade as he helps sifting through them.
During the last episode, model Zach found himself at the receiving end of Jo's trademark rejection line: “Let's be friends,” leaving
Lucas and
Chris in contention. But wait, there's more. Also on the last episode, Slade made it clear, to everyone's shock, that he wants to join the fray. Somehow reminiscent of some dating shows in the past, such as
Flavor of Love's choosing the mother of his kids, Slade said he still has “unresolved feelings” for Jo and asked for a date, to which Jo willingly obliged.
This little event sent Chris through the roof and even threatened to quit the game, if not for the persuasion of Jo and Lucas. And Jo and Slade went on a date, which utterly messed up the whole concept of the game. At the end of the date, Slade went for the jugular and asked Jo, “Do you still have feelings for me?” Jo was speechless.
Now if this little crazy scenario got you all excited, don't forget to catch the finale of
Date My Ex: Jo and Slade tonight 10pm on Bravo. Meanwhile, the next season of
The Real Housewives of Orange County will begin a new season later this year.
