Danny Fenton is the lead character in the animated series Danny Phantom. He is a 14-year old boy who gained ghost powers from a lab accident. He uses his powers to fight spiteful ghosts from Ghost Zone which now haunts his home town of Amity Park. Throughout the series, he has shown romantic interest in Paulina, the most popular girl in school. Previously, he was successful in asking her to the dance but only because he wanted to make Sam, his best friend, jealous. Subsequently, Paulina has fallen in love with Danny's ghostly alter ego, Danny Phantom.
