George Hamilton Biography:
Actor George Hamilton was born on August 12, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee. His acting career took off in 1952, and has since then often been likened to fellow actor Warren Beatty. He is most known for his seemingly always-tanned complexion and his close ties with former first lady of the Philippines, Imelda Marcos. As an actor, he has worked extensively in both film and television. His film credits include Lone Star, Crime & Punishment, Angel Baby, A Thunder of Dreams, A Time for Killing, Sextette, 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag and Rumor Has It. As for television, Hamilton has appeared in television shows like Dynasty, Spies, Death Car on the Freeway,
The Bold and the Beautiful , Casper Meets Wendy and P.T. Barnum. In 2005, he became one of the contestants for the second season of the ABC reality hit, Dancing with the Stars.
On the show, Hamilton danced his way through the competition with his partner,
Edyta Sliwinska . They lasted only five weeks on the show, as Hamilton had a hard time keeping up with his more limber and younger competitors.
