It wouldn't be Dancing with the Stars
without a segment of DanceCenter with Kenny Mayne, Len Goodman and Jerry Rice. Kenny says that there's no such thing as 110 percent - it stops at 100. Yay, I hate it when people say that they want to give 110 percent. All three make fun of Ty's roboticness. Kenny is wearing a shiny pink shirt and Jerry is wearing a bowtie and sparkly vest, but nothing underneath. Jerry and Kenny ogle Lil' Kim's "assets." Kenny cuts Len off when he starts talking about Shawn's strengths.
Here are the first set of results. Having combined the judges' scores with the viewers' votes, the first couple who has secured a place in next week's semi-finals is Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke.
More DanceCenter. Kenny makes an intro about Melissa that sounds like he's going to talk trash about Jason Mesnick, but he turns his mock-ire for Tony Dovolani. Jerry Rice says that Melissa's rehearsal outfit for her jive (the black sports bra and jeans) is the best outfit of the whole season. Kenny complains that all Gilles does is rip off his clothes. Quick cut to the anchors of DanceCenter who are all naked from the waist up. Yuck.
The Macy's Stars of Dance performance is by Marty Kudelka & Dee Caspary and their troupe. They dance on a raised platform with an elaborate star-shaped jungle gym-like structure which the dancers climb all over.
