Dancing with the Stars 7: Season Finale Live Thoughts (Page 3/4)
Susan Lucci, that filthy beast, and her partner Tony Dovolani dance their rendition of the paso doble next.  I remember this one very clearly.  I remember thinking how much I loved everything about it, from the music to the costume choices, except for Susan herself.  She looks even thinner and weaker than she had all season, if that's possible.  She needs to put on weight, that's for sure.  But Tony looks as strapping as ever, he of the waxèd chest.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!  Maurice Greene and Cheryl Burke dance their salsa.  Cheryl's mop hairdo doesn't really go with her poufy skirt, but Maurice seems to be having a great time on the dance floor again.  I had such high hopes for him!

Ooh, this is the part of the Dancing with the Stars finale that I've been really looking forward to.  The Roastmaster General, Jeffrey Ross, comes out to roast the three finalists.  He starts out roasting himself, first, and then moves on to Cloris, calling her and Corky's dances Weekend at Bernie's: The Musical.  Hee!  He says that Warren has the perfect boobs, which Warren doesn't seem to happy to hear.  Jeff, I wouldn't piss him off if I were you.  He posits that the love-child of Brooke and Lance might come out of the womb and the closet at the same time, and then equates Lance with American Idol's Clay Aiken.  OK, it's time for more Warren insults, calling him fat and bald in the same breath.  I admit, I chuckled aloud at some of Jeff's bits.  That was pretty good.

Oh, goody.  Cody Linley and Julianne Hough come back to dance their I Love Lucy-themed jitterbug.  This was definitely one of my favorites from the entire season.  They are so perky and adorable, these two.

Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson are the first of the three finalists to perform their final dance of the season.  They dance the hustle for us again, which I think is a good move on their part.  They scored pretty well with this in week 5, and there are tons of big, impressive lifts, which is their strength.  Len very generously concedes that Warren is the people's champion, even if he's not the judges' champion.  The scores: Carrie Ann gives 9, Len gives 9 and Bruno gives 9, for a 27 out of 30.  Combined with last night's scores, they've got an 80 out of a possible 90.
