Nicole Scherzinger
What you already know: She's the one who can actually sing and dance--and hence be known on a full name basis. She brings the regal legacy of being a member of the burlesque-turned-pop group the Pussycat Dolls.
What you might not know: She got her big break in 2001 on the WB show Pop Stars, when she earned a spot in the girl group Eden's Crush. Here's her very first audition:



Pamela Anderson
What you already know: She's that Baywatch, PETA and Playboy babe with the big ta-tas.
What you might not know: When she wasn't frolicking half naked on the beach on Baywatch, she was ACTING on Baywatch, and it was incredible.



Chad Ochocinco
What you already know: He's a flashy NFL receiver who performs elaborate touchdown dances.
What you might not know: He has his own lexicon. Watch this compilation video of some of Chad's most popular patented phrases like "child please" and "kiss da baby." Thankfully, he even defines them for us. You'll be so ahead of the curve when your friends are scratching their heads and wondering, "Why did Chad just tell Cheryl to kiss his baby? Should I be grossed out?"

Kate Gosselin
What you already know: She's got eight kids, an obnoxious ex-husband, a defunct TLC reality show, an ever-improving haircut and a mommy-bossy attitude.
What you might not know: She was one of Barbara Walter's 2009 "Fascinating People." You probably already knew everything contained in this video, but it's a good overview of her road to fame, and an inside look at her more vulnerable side.



Shannen Doherty
What you already know: She starred on 90210 and Charmed.
What you might not know: In 2006, Shannen got her own show on Oxygen called Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty, in which she helped unhappy girlfriends dump their dudes when they didn't have the chutzpah to do it alone. Half Cheaters, half Punk'd, and a dash of Candid Camera, the show was only interesting when Shannen could go into full-on bitch-mode and lay into a guy for being a big fat jerk--a job she clearly relished.



Buzz Aldrin
What you already know: He's a super-famous astronaut, and the second man to ever walk on the moon. Buzz Lightyear was named after him.
What you might not know: He does NOT like when people accuse him of faking the moon landing. Does. NOT. LIKE IT! Observe:



Erin Andrews
What you already know: She's the beautiful ESPN sideline reporter who had to deal with a camera-toting peephole stalker.
What you might not know: Her first job as an on-camera sports reporter was for a hockey team, and the night before her interview she was reading "Hockey for Dummies" because she knew nothing about the sport. Aiden Turner
What you already know: He's a British soap stud who gets as many shirtless scenes as the All My Children writers can muster.
What you might not know: He may be a "star," but as recently as 2008, Aiden was in a little film called The Manhattanites, which, from the looks of this trailer, was clearly robbed of ALL the Oscars that year. (Just kidding: it looks ridiculously terrible. Watch for yourself!)



Jake Pavelka
What you already know: He's a commercial pilot, a recently engaged ex-Bachelor and prone to using words like "gosh" and "bless her heart."
What you might not know: He has an acting background. Check out this clip from Jake's younger days, when he played Chuck Norris's younger self on Walker: Texas Ranger.

Niecy Nash
What you already know: She's that funny gal you've seen on Reno! 911, Clean House, and The Insider.
What you might not know: Her comedy was "birthed out of tragedy," as she candidly describes in this NPR interview. Also: her booty on Reno! 911 was fake.



Evan Lysacek
What you already know: He's the first American male figure skater to win Olympic gold in men's singles since 1988. He is a very, very good ice skater. The reigning World Champion, in fact. 
What you might not know: Figure skating is waaaay more fun to watch with Japanese commentators. (Okay, I admit it: pretty much all Evan Lysacek videos are of him ice skating, so what you already know is probably enough.)
