After a surprising non-elimination on Dancing with the Stars
last week due to technical issues with the voting, the top eight
couples all received a second chance. In week 7 the scores from last
week, plus the scores from this week, will be combined with the viewer
votes for last week to decide who is going home.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Week 7 will feature individual and team dances, and allegedly only one couple will go home, though I assume a double elimination is somewhere in the future. There's also news of a big announcement that may involve a twist, a new judge or the return of the results shows.
With half of the scores already in, it makes predicting things slightly easier. Here's the leaderboard from last week:32
: Elizabeth Berkley, Amber Riley31
: Brant Daugherty30
: Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi28
: Leah Remini27
: Corbin Bleu, Jack Osbourne24
: Bill Engvall
It's been leaked that one team will be Amber, Brant, Corbin and Jack (as #FoxingAwesome), with Elizabeth, Snooki, Leah and Bill on the other as #SpookyBomBom. Those names can only mean Halloween-themed dances set to Ylvis' "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)"
and Sam and the Womp's "Bom Bom."
I can already tell Len Goodman will hate the idea of Derek Hough choreographing a routine about foxes that say "ding-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding."
Individually, Brant and Jack will take on the Jive (which I suspect spells trouble for Jack). Bill and Elizabeth are doing the Quickstep (disaster for Bill). Amber is doing the Paso Doble (though Derek has had back problems this week), Corbin has the Cha-Cha-Cha and Snooki has the Samba, all of which should be solid. It's unclear what Leah is doing.
So armed with all of that information, here are my top three picks to go home.Bill Engvall and Emma Slater
I thought they'd be safe last week, but with two weeks of scores, being at the bottom could hurt him. He'll probably get the lowest score again (he's not fast enough for the Quickstep) and being on what I consider the worse team will also hurt. Basically, I suspect he'll be in last place by at least 5 or 6 points, and since he performed first last week, people might not be voting as strongly.Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke
I've predicted him to go home the past two weeks, so maybe the third time's a charm. He's tied for second-to-last going into week 7, but unlike Corbin, he's unlikely to have a comeback, especially not with a Jive. Factoring in the very subpar Paso Doble from last week and he could finally be eliminated. If not, he'll probably have to thank his impressive teammates. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Sasha Farber
She has decent scores, but Christina Milian proved that's not enough. You also need to establish your brand and get a strong group of voters to support you. For me, Snooki going from "Work Bitch" to "Build Me Up Buttercup" is extremely confusing and that lack of consistency in how she portrays herself could hurt her with the voters. My Prediction
Sadly, I have to predict Bill and Emma going home
. Their scores are just too low, and while I think he's built up a solid group of fans and supporters, I don't know if that's enough, or if the silliness of his "Cheeseburger in Paradise" will earn as many votes as I thought his tribute to his wife would.
Who do you think will be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars
this week? What will the big news be?
