Are you ready to rock?!

You know, at least as much as it is possible to "rock" when we're dealing with ballroom dancing. Dancing with the Stars season 14 will have a rock theme for week 4, hopefully giving us some stylistic variation with the standard dance steps. What can we expect from Rock Week on DWTS? Keep reading to find out.

In addition to the various rock-themed dances in Dancing with the Stars week 4, the big musical performance of the week will reflect the theme as well: KISS -- some of the most heavily made-up rockers out there -- will appear on both Monday night's performance show and Tuesday night's Results Show. The band is expected to start off tonight's DWTS with their "Rock and Roll All Nite."

What Dances Will We See?
We get quite a diverse collection of dance styles for Rock Week. Some of the styles even seem to be an odd choice. I mean, seriously, how do you do a waltz to a standard rock beat? The counts would be totally off! The one waltzing couple may just have to perform to some alternative music -- that style sometimes uses a three-count.

Anyway, here is what they are dancing:

  • Melissa and Maks -- Paso Doble
  • Gavin and Karina -- Tango
  • Gladys and Tristan -- Tango
  • Sherri and Val -- Tango
  • Donald and Peta -- Paso Doble
  • Jaleel and Kym -- Tango
  • Maria and Derek -- Tango
  • Roshon and Chelsie -- Viennese Waltz
  • William and Cheryl -- Jive
  • Katherine and Mark -- Paso Doble

Where Do They Stand?
The standings have altered somewhat now that we're into the fourth week of Dancing with the Stars season 14. There haven't been any big alterations, of course, but we are definitely seeing some patterns on the leader board.

1. Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas -- 81 total points
2. William Levy and Cheryl Burke -- 77 total points
3. Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower -- 74 total points
4. Maria Menounos and Derek Hough -- 73 total points
4. Jaleel White and Kym Johnson -- 73 total points
6. Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd  -- 71 total points
7. Sherri Shepherd and Val Chmerkovskiy -- 70 total points
8. Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus -- 66 total points
9. Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff -- 65 total points
10. Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy -- 64 total points
