Michael Bolton fans were saddened by his quick elimination in week 2 of Dancing with the Stars. After a poor jive performance -- and some harsh judging -- Bolton was done.

Bolton's unsurprising departure has actually garnered some controversy, mostly surrounding judge Bruno Tonioli's harsh criticism of the dance performance. After calling it "the worst jive" he had seen on DWTS, Tonioli proceeded to award only 3 points for Bolton's dance with partner Chelsie Hightower.

While Bolton himself was able to get some closure by refuting some of Bruno's criticisms on the air and in interviews, what is left for the fans?

If you feel that you need more of Michael Bolton to get you through this time of trouble, perhaps his music can help. After all, there's nothing like a ballad to remind you of what really matters.

Sorry Michael! Your fans let you down by not voting enough! You thought they loved you, but fans are fickle folk. Protestations of love are common, but where are the fans when you need them the most? Nowhere. Silly, lying fans.

We didn't appreciate Michael when we had him, and now there is no more Bolton for Dancing with the Stars fans. All we have left is our loss. Fortunately, Michael can help us celebrate it.

Hey, it's Teri Hatcher!

How can the viewer continue on without our favorite blond singer to dance away with our hearts? I suppose we'll just have to content ourselves with the other 10 contestants...

Michael's heartfelt ballad could be directed straight at Bruno, letting that foolish judge that Michael Bolton will be back -- and better than ever -- someday. Although he's not likely to be back on Dancing with the Stars or anything. Bolton's pretty much done there.

It's looking like Michael and Bruno will never be lovers, not after DWTS.
