In this series, we will study the 16 couples on Dancing with the Stars season 9 and predict who has the best chances for success, and who is doomed to humiliation.

Who is Michael Irvin?
If you're a football fan, you know who Michael Irvin is. He's only one of the most successful wide receivers in NFL history. The three-time Super Bowl champion and Dallas Cowboy was known as The Playmaker and one of The Triplets, alongside Troy Aikman and former DWTS champion Emmitt Smith. In 2007, he was inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame. He also co-starred in the Adam Sandler comedy The Longest Yard and produced and hosted the realtiy series 4th and Long for Spike TV.

Anna Demidova's Record
Sure, Anna is a newcomer to the regular Dancing with the Stars stage, but this newcomer won last season's professional dancer competition.

My Prediction: Middle of the Pack
Dancing with the Stars has something with football players. Emmitt Smith, Irvin's teammate, won season 3. The year before that another football player - Jerry Rice - was runner-up. Lastly, several seasons later, two more football players became runners-up: Jason Taylor and Warren Sapp. By that virtue alone, there must be something about football players, skill-wise or whatever, that make them suited for the kind of challenge that Dancing with the Stars presents. However, this season features a lot more competition for Irvin, so it'd be doubly hard to make it to the end zone - so to speak.
