Dancing with the Stars is off and running with a cast of some of the wackiest and most bizarre characters the show has ever featured. There’s a 72-year-old woman who dresses like a homeless person doing cartwheels, a star of the movie Mean Girls who acts as if being on this show is like snorting cocaine and a stoner in his 70s who struts like a pimp. We also have two teenage girls, a UFC fighter who makes Julianne Hough lactate, an underwear model, a goofy NASCAR dad and Carlton Banks, who is almost as good as Meryl Davis.

Recap: The Top 13 Perform in Week 1>>

For the first two weeks of DWTS season 19, we also get the return of the results shows, an hour of filler leading to one couple getting eliminated. Based on the leaderboard, Betsey Johnson and Lolo Jones should be very worried. I’m predicting that Lolo will go-go tonight.

THE LEADERBOARD

36 (9.7 percent): Alfonso Ribeiro
34 (9.1 percent): Sadie Robertson
32 (8.6 percent): Lea Thompson, Bethany Mota
31 (8.3 percent): Randy Couture
30 (8.1 percent): Jonathan Bennett
29 (7.8 percent): Janel Parrish, Tavis Smiley
27 (7.3 percent): Tommy Chong
25 (6.7 percent): Antonio Sabato, Jr., Michael Waltrip
22 (5.9 percent): Lolo Jones
20 (5.4 percent): Betsey Johnson

The Results

Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovolani are…IN JEOPARDY!
Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater are…IN JEOPARDY!

Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev are…IN JEOPARDY!
Lolo Jones and Keo Motsepe are…IN JEOPARDY!

Lea is the only one of those that’s a surprise, but I guess going early and having a new partner hurt her.

Lea and Michael are…SAFE!

That leaves the bottom two on the leaderboard as the bottom two of the night. It’s nice to see nothing crazy is happening in week 1.

Lolo Jones and Keo Motsepe ARE ELIMINATED!

As I mentioned, this makes four seasons in a row where the second-lowest score of week 1 is the first couple eliminated. I don’t know if it’s the scores, her attitude, the way she just acted defeated after it was over or having a new, unknown partner, but whatever the case, Lolo and Keo are no mo’. I guess I’ll have to return that rhyming dictionary I bought.
