Julianne Hough, the youngest professional dancer on the cast of
Dancing with the Stars, has the best winning percentage on the show. She has won the coveted mirror ball trophy on each of the two seasons that she has competed on the show. Julianne is featured in the April 2008 issues of
CosmoGIRL!, available on newsstands now. She talked about her experiences moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah and about her own personal relationships.
At only 19 years of age, Julianne Hough is busy with her successful career as a ballroom dancer and recording a country music album. But she doesn't let that get to her head and she remains a good role model for young girls.

who the hell cares if she's a virgin? how is that going to enrich our lives?
The
Dancing with the Stars pro dished to
CosmoGIRL! about breaking off her engagement to
Zack Wilson (who appeared on the other ABC dance show
Dance War) but she still says that their relationship is very important to her.
"I actually broke up with my fiancé because I felt I was young, and I wanted to experience the Hollywood life. He's the right guy. It's just the wrong time," Julianne said.
She also appeared in the tabloids shortly after her second
Dancing with the Stars win last season because she was rumored to have caused the rift that broke up her co-champion
Helio Castroneves and his fiancée. She insists that those rumors are untrue.
"I would never want to be perceived that way!" she said. "Every partner I've had, the relationship has been purely professional."
In fact, moral fortitude is very important to her, and she plans to remain a virgin until she does get married. She doesn't even drink, smoke or do drugs, either.
"I think the decision to have sex before marriage is an individual one, but if you're just with one person, it's only for one good reason, and [waiting to have sex] will strengthen that relationship," Julianne said in her interview.
While delaying sex until marriage is not a prerequisite to enjoying a stable and happy life, it is quite refreshing to see such a successful, beautiful and talented woman remain centered, especially with the lives of many a Hollywood starlet imploding in a very public manner. Still, though, Julianne's experiences in the tabloids have made her sympathetic to those starlets.
"All the rumors have made me sympathetic to the stars who are in those magazines every week, like Britney Spears. When I saw those pictures of her being taken to the hospital, my heart just broke," she said.
Tune in for this season of
Dancing with the Stars to find out if Julianne Hough can whip her latest dance partner
Adam Carolla into shape to achieve a third straight victory.
Do you think people should save themselves for marriage?
