It's been a busy week for the folks over at Dancing with the Stars. From terror threats to celebrity accusations to wardrobe malfunction, there is plenty of DWTS news to entertain you until the dancing begins again.
Who Hates Dancing with the Stars?
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Apparently, someone either dislikes **Dancing with the Stars or else just wanted to rile things up a bit. The L.A. Times
reported that, on Wednedsay, September 28, an anonymous letter was found addressed to "Dancing with the Stars." When opened, the envelope was found to contain an unidentified white powder.
Fortunately for the health and safety of all those concerned with televised ballroom dancing, the Los Angeles Police Department's hazardous materials personnel quickly determined that the powder was harmless.
This is hardly the first DWTS
security scare. Nor is it the first time someone has sent white powder to CBS studios (where Dancing with the Stars
films) -- a couple of months ago, someone sent a similar powder to late-night host Craig Ferguson. That powder was also harmless.Elisabetta Didn't Text George
contestant Elisabetta Canalis is best-known for one thing: dating George Clooney. So it wasn't too much of a shock when the current issue of US Weekly
reported that Elisabetta had sent some mean texts to George over news that the actor was now dating Stacy Keibler.
According to TMZ.com
, however, this isn't true.
George Clooney took the trouble to defend his ex, saying the entire story was "completely fabricated to sell magazines." Clooney didn't give any additional information about his relationship with Canalis, but that's only to be expected. He doesn't talk about his personal life very much.
What we can know about George Clooney's personal life is that he likes the DWTS-
types. While Elisabetta Canalis fell to elimination in only the second week of Dancing with the Stars
season 13, Stacy Keibler managed to place third in the dance competition back in season 2.The Whole Nancy Grace Thing
Apparently, if you were watching closely during the week 2 performance show of Dancing with the Stars
, Nancy Grace may have had a slight wardrobe malfunction. A brief, fleeting shot of something on the woman's breast led to many an Internet report of indecent exposure.
To be honest, I totally missed this.
But no one else did. Despite Nancy's many, many protests that it was nothing but an errant pasty, the reports have continued. Considering that no one official has objected thus far, that explanation works.
I just thought I should mention it.
