This season of
Dancing with the Stars just got a lot less interesting with
Pamela Anderson getting the boot this week, which leaves us with our top five: Nicole Scherzinger, Evan Lysacek, Erin Andrews, Chad Ochocinco and Niecy Nash.
On this edition of our
Dancing with the Stars news roundup: Elizabeth Hasselbeck backtracks, Tony Blair could go
Dancing, and just how do the remaining celebs and pro feel about losing the
Baywatch bombshell?
But first,
what's happening to our stars in and out of the dance floor:
On to the news:
Best Season so Far? There may be no fainting contestants this season on
DWTS, but Carrie Ann Inaba certainly thinks so. Click
here to find out why she thinks
DWTS overtook
Idol in the ratings for the first time.
Engaged! Last season's dark horse and model Joanna Krupa
announces her engagement to Miami celebrity club owner Romain Zago. Derek Hough should be in the guest list, we're sure.
Losing Pam. "The show's losing a lot of sexiness," Chad Ochocinco
says of the
Baywatch alum's elimination. His partner Cheryl Burke reveals Pam has changed what she thought about her. Finally, Erin calls Pam "one of the greatest people" in the cast. Even Evan Lysacek is impressed with her "personality."
He doesn't want to go. Speaking of the Olympian, he admits he
dreads the day DWTS ends for him because the experience just doesn't compare with individual skating ... but he vows not to cry when that happens.
Kate's reading the tabloids. Surprise, surprise: Kate Gosselin's pro partner Tony Dovolani
reveals to MTV News that they read the tabs every single day, and that was partly to blame for their exit from the show. Sure, let's go with that, Tony.
Sequins on Tony Blair? It seems farfetched if you ask us, but the former British PM was reportedly
offered some $400,000 to appear on
Dancing with the Stars. Not that it doesn't have a precedent, but Tom Delay didn't exactly shine last season, if you catch our drift.
Hasselbeck versus Andrews. Finally: after
saying that Erin's stalker could have just waited several weeks to see her wearing next to nothing on
DWTS,
The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck issued a tearful apology to the ESPN reporter, explaining that she took her daughter's advice and realized she hurt Erin's feelings.
