But first,
some updates from Twitter-land (mainly who's dancing what):
- Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are dancing the quickstep next week.
- Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke are dancing the Viennese waltz (and rehearsing til midnight).
- Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya are taking on the Argentine tango (and rehearsing in Michigan).
- Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood are doing the waltz.
- Finally, since we're on the topic, there'll be a team competition next week: a cha-cha-cha contest between Team A: Evan, Erin and Niecy and Team B: Nicole, Chad, and Pam.
On to the news:
Back to flying. We don't need to remind you how emotional Jake was after getting the boot on
DWTS. He says on
Good Morning America that he'll be back to flying soon. Unfortunately, no wedding date has been set for the happy
Bachelor couple.
Us is reporting that Jake and Vienna looked "absolutely miserable" and "inconsolable" after the cameras stopped rolling on
DWTS. He later
tweeted that he's pretty bummed because he "did everything" he could. Aw.
We'd love to see that. Survivor Niecy Nash says that landing in the bottom two/waiting for your name to be called is so nerve-wracking that she felt like
she wanted to throw up in her mouth a little bit.
Aiden picks a winner. Speaking of elimination, soap star Aiden Turner has a prediction on who's taking home the mirror ball trophy on
DWTS this season, and it's ... Evan Lysacek. Find out why
here.
Kate's post-DWTS depression. If the
post-Kate Gosselin numbers are looking miserable for
DWTS, she says the feeling is mutual. Kate tells
Radar Online: "I cannot watch it. I love them, but I couldn't do it. It's too sad."
It's not fair! Finally: Kate's pro partner Tony Dovolani tells
Zap2it that
Dancing with the Stars is "not designed around fairness." First of all, that's a given already. Second of all, he's talking about Nicole Scherzinger and her "dance background."
