After Pamela Anderson recently became part of the bevy of names being floated as potential contestants for Dancing with the Stars' upcoming tenth season, it's now Full House star John Stamos who is being rumored to be waltzing for in the DWTS dance floor.
The cast will not be announced until The Bachelor's March 1 finale, but People reports that it's none other than Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff who first mentioned the possibility, which as of now is still on the drawing board.
"I have a wish to dance with John Stamos," she says. "I wanted him to be my celebrity partner. He finished
Bye Bye Birdie on Broadway and he has had enough time to rest."
Stamos, 46, is still reportedly deciding whether or not to join the cast of
Dancing with the Stars, which, says ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson previously, will be significantly streamlined to as few as 11 pairs, five less than the previous one's 16.
In other news, former NFL star and
DWTS season seven runner-up Warren Sapp was arrested and charged with misdemeanor and domestic battery in Miami Beach on Saturday.
Sapp, who teamed up with Kym Johnson on
Dancing, was involved in an incident with her girlfriend at the Shore Club Hotel early Saturday morning. He was changed with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery.
Sapp was in town to cover the game for the NFL Network but was taken off the air, according to a network spokesperson.
