Dancing With the Stars professionals Alec Mazo, who took first place during Dancing's first season with celebrity partner Kelly Monaco, and fellow Dancing With the Stars veteran Edyta Sliwinska took to Vegas for Bachelor and Bachelorette parties in advance of their upcoming September wedding.

The duo have been regulars on Dancing With the Stars' team of professional dancers sinc the first season.  Edyta has been teamed with Evander Holyfield, George Hamilton, Joey Lawrence and John Ratzenberger.  In addition to Monaco, Alec skipped seasons 2 and 3 of Dancing With the Stars returning for season four to team with Paulina Porizkova, who was eliminated first.



No word on whether Alec will return for Dancing With the Stars fifth season, which debuts soon, and so far no one has had the fortune to ask the shows first champion how it felt to play both sides of the extreme. The couple was joined in Vegas by an entourage of their Dancing With the Stars co-stars, including Kelly Monaco.  

As the fifth season of Dancing With the Stars approaches, the idea of a competing husband and wife in the professional ranks makes the contest even more alluring.  Unfortunately, ABC is keeping season 5 details under tight wraps.

Still some information has managed to make its way onto the Internet, although it may be nothing new to folks who have been paying keen attention to the Dancing With the Stars news flow.  So far the rumored contestants are Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown, who is also locked into a famously ugly paternity battle with funny man Eddie Murphy, Jennie Garth, and fellow 90210 alum Tori Spelling. 

Apparently this season there is a standing rule that any potential contestant, or even contracted contestant, that spills the beans on their participation will be nixed from the show.  With the fall lineup looming, though, expect a full list of contestants to be announced soon.
