It's a good time to be in love on the Dancing with the Stars cast. Following rumors that Amber Rose and Val Chmerkovskiy are dating and Erin Andrews is engaged, another familiar Dancing with the Stars face has their own happy romantic news. US weekly is reporting that long-time judge Carrie Ann Inaba is engaged to her boyfriend and General Hospital star, Robb Derringer.

Carrie Ann made the announcement on her Instagram with a post embedded below. Carrie Ann snapshotted an image of a headline announcing the proposal with the caption, "We're so excited to share this with everyone....IT'S TRUE! #believeinlove ❤️❤️❤️"

Carrie Ann's new fiance followed things up with a Instagram post of his own. In a photo collage that looks it was taken just moments after the proposal, Derringer captioned, "So overjoyed to share the best thing that has ever happened to me when @carrieanninaba made me the luckiest guy in the world in saying....yes. Thanks to @jeandousset for helping me to create the most unique, exquisite symbol of my love for Carrie."

In an interview with People, Carrie Ann shared how exactly this "unique" and "exquisite" proposal went down. The proposal happened on Saturday, December 10. "Saturdays are special to us, because our first date was on a Saturday," Carrie Ann explained. "And we have celebrated with a toast, a visit to a beach, special date, a motorcycle adventure, or a road trip on every Saturday since. So on Saturday, we returned to the place of our first date and got engaged at the same place we shared our spontaneous and magical first date."

The setting isn't what made Robb's proposal unique though. Apparently he wrote a letter to Carrie Ann before getting down on one knee. ""I'm a better writer than a speaker so I chose to share my thoughts with Carrie in a letter expressing how much she meant to me, how much she had changed me," Derringer elaborated.

"I then got down on one knee under what I will always remember as the most serene and tranquil night sky I've ever seen and asked my beautiful girl if she would do me the honor of being my wife, to which she thankfully replied yes," he later added.

The couple first started dating this spring and soon after they went public, they moved in together. Carrie Anna was previously engaged to an accountant named Jesse Sloan in 2011. Sloan popped the question during an episode of Live! with Regis and Kelly. They later called off their engagement in 2012. Hopefully the diametrically opposed private setting of this engagement will result in an equally long lasting relationship.

Are you happy for Carrie Ann? What do you think of this proposal? Do you remember the first time she was engaged? Who do you think, if anyone, on Dancing with the Stars is going to get engaged next?

Dancing with the Stars will return for season 24 in 2017 on ABC. Want more news? Like our Dancing with the Stars Facebook page!
