Dancing with the Stars season 15 -- set to be the show's first all-star season -- is still months away. But past DWTS competitors aren't waiting for that. One of them, Misty May-Treanor, wants your votes now.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Misty May-Treanor, an Olympic volleyball champion with two gold medals and more than 100 overall wins, originally competed in Dancing with the Stars
season 7 (in the fall of 2008). After a solid start with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Misty was forced to withdraw from the competition due to a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Now she wants to get back on the show.
On Monday, May 28, Misty May-Treanor took to Facebook to begin her campaign for the Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars
season next fall. Her post read as follows:
"Hi everyone so wanted to write to ask you to vote to get me back on Dancing With The Stars. They are having an All Star show this Fall.
1. I would love to finish what I wasn't able to when I was on the show the last time
2. I wasn't voted off
3. I would love for my husband to see me dance and compete
4. I want to perform for my fans!
Misty and Maks scored 21 points for each of the three dances they performed in Dancing with the Stars
season 7 and ranked 3rd, 6th and 4th in individual performances.
Although Misty May-Treanor is the only DWTS
alum -- so far -- actively seeking All-Star
inclusion, speculation about the casting is going strong. Rumors have surfaced about such casting as Mario Lopez (who originally leaked news about the Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars
season), Bristol Palin and Kate Gosselin.
Which of these rumors might be true? Which are only pipe dreams concocted by enthusiastic fans? We will not, alas, find out until just before Dancing with the Stars
season 15 premieres this fall.Click here to visit the ABC website and vote for your favorite All-Stars
