Dancing with the Stars 8: Season Finale Live Thoughts (Page 1/4)

What up, ballroom bitches? It's the last episode of season 8 of Dancing with the Stars. Usually, by this point in the season, i.e. the very end, I have a pretty good idea of who is going to win, or at the very least, who should win, but I have to tell you, I'm stumped. This is the strongest set of finalists that the show has ever had, and I'm hard-pressed to say which one deserves the title the most.

Stay with me tonight as I share with you my live thoughts. Also, you can keep up-to-date with the goings-on of Dancing with the Stars by following BuddyTV's own Dancing with the Stars Twitter.
Lady Gaga starts the night off with the appropriately named "Just Dance."

As is traditional for season finales for Dancing with the Stars, all the eliminated couples return in the order in which they were eliminated. So, first up are Belinda Carlisle and Jonathan, followed immediately by Denise Richards and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Ha, I'm sure Maks is like, "Aww man, why do I have to dance with this bitch again?" Then Holly Madison and Dmitry Chaplin take the stage again. After they dance, Tom and Samantha interview them really quickly, and I am once again reminded how dull and vapid Denise Richards appears. Holly is still adorable, but still could use a a hamburger or two.

Next up, we get a montage of Steve Wozniak moments. Aww, it's Steve on the Segway Human Transporter. Man, I love geeks.

I've got an idea for a Dancing with the Stars drinking game. Drink every time a female dancer wears a fringey bra top; drink every time you can see a male dancer's chest.

After the break, Steve Wozniak and Karina Smirnoff take the stage to reprise their quickstep from earlier in the season. I'm sad that we won't see the Woz do the worm again, though, but it's still cute to seem him dressed up like a nerd. I mean, not that he isn't enough of a nerd already. But wait! Tom Bergeron requests the worm after they are done with the routine, and Karina adorably dares him to do so as well. Funny!

Next up, David Alan Grier and Kym Johnson dance their Viennese waltz. I hope David will get mad at Carrie Ann again and spew vitriolic profanities. I mean, not because I have anything against Carrie Ann - in fact, I am a huge fan of hers - but it would be funny to see it again. Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmer dance right after David and Kym. I think Lacey changed her hair color. It looks like there are more blonde highlights, and looks lovely. David doesn't have any hair! In the interview afterwards, David jokingly expresses his gushing feelings for the three judges.
