Dancing with the Stars
is one of those unpredictable reality that half-relies on the whims of the American public to make its weekly elimination decisions. Sometimes, America agrees with the judges, sometimes their tastes diverge. Tonight was one of those nights in which America told the judges to take their scores and shove it.
Tonight, we were treated to two musical performances by Jessica Simpson, as well as the first Macy's Stars of Dance performance that featured Pussycat Doll Carmit Bacher and Jenna Dewan of Step Up

Warren and Kym reprised their Matrix
-infused paso doble for the encore tonight. And, after last night's performances, the judges' leaderboard was as follows:
Brooke and Derek - 24
Warren and Kym - 24
Toni and Alec - 23
Cody and Julianne - 21
Misty and Maks - 21
Susan and Tony - 21
Lance and Lacey - 20
Maurice and Cheryl - 19
Kim and Mark - 17
Rocco and Karina - 16
Cloris and Corky – 15
Brooke and Warren were tied for first with Toni nipping at their heels. Kim, Rocco and Cloris all appeared to be in danger at the bottom of the leaderboard.
In the order in which they were called, the celebrities who will be returning for at least one more week of ballroom dancing are Toni Braxton
, Rocco DiSpirito
, Cody Linley
, Brooke Burke
, Susan Lucci
, Maurice Greene
, Warren Sapp
, Lance Bass
, Misty May-Treanor
and Cloris Leachman
In the end, it was Kim Kardashian
and her partner Mark Ballas
who were eliminated tonight. It's not really a huge surprise. I didn't feel that Kim's heart was really in the competition because all of her performances lacked any kind of passion, and all she seemed interested in talking about to the confessional camera was how fun it was to play dress-up.
As Dancing with the Stars
continues to separate the wheat from the chaff, the competition is only going to get more heated from here on out.
