Dancing with the Stars picked off a huge week with two consecutive nights of exciting performances. There were standard dances, flashy Latin dances, good dances, bad dances and more than one inappropriate sexual or monetary bribe (I'm looking at you, Cloris Leachman!). And tonight, the fun continued with the first
Dancing with the Stars results show of the season.
The first elimination of the season actually occurred last night when
Jeffrey Ross and
Edyta Sliwinska were shown the door. However, they were welcomed back tonight when they performed the quickstep that they would have danced last night. The performance was actually pretty good. For Jeff, that is.
The two live musical acts who performed tonight were Jesse McCartney and the Jonas Brothers.
Adding up the judges' scores from last night, here are the standings so far on
Dancing with the Stars:
1.
Brooke Burke and
Derek Hough, 26
2.
Toni Braxton and
Alec Mazo, 23
2.
Cody Linley and
Julianne Hough, 23
4.
Warren Sapp and
Kym Johnson, 22
4.
Susan Lucci and
Tony Dovolani, 22
6.

Inna Brayer, 19
11.

In the order in which they were called, the couples who will be returning for at least one more week of
Dancing with the Stars are:
Brooke and Derek
Kim and Mark
Cloris and Corky
Maurice and Cheryl
Misty and Maks
Warren and Kym
Susan and Tony
Rocco and Karina
Lance and Lacey
Cody and Julianne
Toni and Alec
Unfortunately, this means that Ted and Inna are out. Looks like instead of ending the existence of
Dancing with the Stars, Ted's shark-jumping abilities merely killed his and Inna's chances at winning the mirror ball trophy.
