Yesterday, I brought you the power rankings for bottom four couples set to compete in this season of
Dancing with the Stars, and today, I will do the same for the next group of four. With such a strong cast this season, I am finding it increasingly difficult to assess each couple's chances on the show because all of these celebrities could conceivably win
Dancing with the Stars. To the best of my ability, I have read through every bit of information that I could find on the stars, and have made my list.
Below, I present to you my ranked list of the middle four couples on
Dancing with the Stars.

8. Mario and Karina Smirnoff
Mario is the second Mario to dance with Karina Smirnoff. (She went to second place with
Mario Lopez on season 3.) This current, one-named Mario is responsible for the hit R&B single, "Let Me Love You," but he's not exactly well-known among the older viewing and voting audience of
Dancing with the Stars.
7. Marissa Jaret Winokur and Tony Dovolani
Marissa Jaret Winokur has a great personality and a great stage presence. She might not be a size zero, but she has great energy, and it's not for nothing that she won a Tony for
Hairspray. However, there are just so many other stars on the cast who might have more potential than she does, just edging her out of the top half.
6. Monica Seles and Jonathan Roberts
Monica Seles is an amazing athlete, with intense drive and stamina. She definitely has the speed and footwork to rule the tennis court, but that's not entirely transferable to the dance floor, where grace, flexibility and beauty are important as well. We'll see next Tuesday how she does, but I'm guessing that her fellow female athlete,
Kristi Yamaguchi, is going to out dance her.
5. Priscilla Presley and Louis van Amstel
Priscilla Presley has name recognition. The lady has been around for a long time and a lot of people know her. At 62, she's the oldest competitor on the show, but I don't think that her age will be an issue. Certainly,
Marie Osmond was able to advance very far last season, despite her age and matronly girth. My prediction is that she might not have as much technique as her younger competitors, but she'll be able to win over the votes.
