Dancing with the Stars 5: Top 3 Power Rankings
Dancing with the Stars 5: Top 3 Power Rankings
The outcome of last night's Dancing with the Stars results show was such that there is only one dancing Hough to enter the finals next, and that would be Julianne, as brother Derek was eliminated along with Jennie Garth last night. The final three teams that will be dancing their hearts out next Monday are speedster Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough, Marie Osmond and Jonathan Roberts, and Melanie Brown and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Ranking these final three is probably the most difficult thing that I'll have to do this year, but I'll do my best. Read on to see who I've picked to win Dancing with the Stars 5.

3. Marie Osmond and Jonathan Roberts

I'm probably going to have to eat my words next Tuesday night, but considering their tremendous competitors, I really think that Marie and Jonathan aren't mirror ball material. Marie has consistently scored lower than Helio and Mel, and although Marie's technique has definitely improved these past weeks, her movements lack the brilliance and sharpness that Mel has in spades.

2. Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough

It's almost impossible to decide who to put in the second place. I go back and forth with this practically every hour. But as of right now, I think I have to put Helio in second place. He's really come a long way and has become a truly entertaining performer. He's definitely a joy to watch, and I really hope he comes in at least in second place.

1. Melanie Brown and Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Mel's my girl and has been for the last several weeks. She's got spunk, she's got fire. She can do the splits like nobody's business. Everything in ballroom dance is about showing off the lady. Ballroom dance is all about showing off the lady with those spins and turns and lifts. It's very demanding to be in the Dancing with the Stars spotlight, but Mel sparkles and shines.
