Well, we thought that the Dancing with the Stars season 14 cast was set after the official announcement. But recent rumors indicate that that might not be so. Keep reading to learn the identity of a 13th celebrity -- with a recent claim to fame from The Bachelor -- who may be joining Dancing with the Stars this season.
According to a report from People.com
, Courtney Robertson might continue her reality TV reign of terror by appearing as a surprise contestant on the March 19 Dancing with the Stars
season 14 premiere.
Yes, that Courtney.
Having won the heart of Bachelor
Ben Flajnik -- who proposed to Courtney on the March 12 Bachelor
finale -- Courtney Robertson reportedly wants to show people who she really is. That probably means showing that she's not a horrible person, hated by all of womankind, but I could be wrong about that.
Keep in mind that this report is far from confirmed. People.com
got an official "No comment" from a Dancing with the Stars
rep when questions about Courtney's participation were raised.
But that's not a no.
If Courtney Robertson were to join the Dancing with the Stars
cast, she would not be the first celebrity to participate at the last minute. Season 8 of Dancing with the Stars
featured the surprise addition of another Bachelor
lady, Melissa Rycroft. Melissa joined the show just days before the premiere to replace Nancy O'Dell, who had suffered an injury. Melissa Rycroft and partner Tony Dovolani then went on to place third in DWTS
Would Courtney Robertson be an addition or a substitution to the season 14 cast? There have not been any reports of major injuries from rehearsals. Some of this season's celebrities do have hefty commitments -- concert tours and television shows -- which could change minds about DWTS
Alternatively, Courtney could be a surprise 13th celebrity on Dancing with the Stars
season 14. Anything is possible, I guess.
