Can it really be true? Did Maddie know that her music would skip last week before it happened? It's the scandal shocking the Dance Moms
this week, and whether Maddie anticipated the music mess-up or Abby set it up to make her look good, it sure looks a little suspicious. I'd like to believe that Maddie is just a great dancer and had enough experience to be able to dance through a glitch like that. But when you look back at the footage, she really doesn't even miss a beat. One thing is for sure, the moms aren't going to let Melissa get away easily with this one. Let's get right into tonight's episode and find out all of the juicy details!
Nia Steps into the Spotlight
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
I have a smile as big as Nia's when she earns her spot second to the top of the pyramid and receives a solo for this week's competition. She really deserves it for how hard she works with the team, and this week she gets a more mature routine as she's wrapped in ropes. It seems as though ever since Holly stopped working, she has been noticeably more calm and collected in the studio. I guess a little time off does a whole lot of good!
Confronting the Rumors
Melissa quickly confronts Abby about the alleged scratched CD, and although Abby denies planning the whole sneaky scheme, the moms are still skeptical. Because Christi and Kelly seem to team up with one another against Melissa, she decides to take Holly out for some one-on-one time to talk about the whole sticky situation. Even though Melissa decides to trust Abby, it doesn't mean that all of the accusations are going to disappear. Once again, the moms make snarky comments about the whole thing at this week's competition. In this case, they really need to just let it go because at this point, the only person it will really hurt is Maddie.
Green with Envy
A green dress for their "silver spoons" routine has really caused some controversy in the studio when Paige has to trade her dress for Chloe's pink one so that she doesn't stand out. As you can imagine, this doesn't go over well with Kelly, who already feels like her girls get the short end of the stick with Abby. I have to agree with Kelly in this case -- it really seems like Abby is going out of her way to make sure that Paige isn't featured, especially when the dresses that were swapped don't fit either girl. In the end, it doesn't seem to faze the girls on stage, and after they earn second place, all Abby sees is red.
Go First or Go Home
After a second place finish in both the group solo and duet categories, Abby puts the pressure on the soloists to pull off a gold. Although, I have to say that I think Chloe and Maddie were robbed on their duet. They performed amazingly, and I couldn't believe how in sync they were the whole time. In Maddie's solo, she is portraying Helen Keller and must dance as well as act the part, while Nia dances to a "bound" theme, and MacKenzie is a little dancing daisy. Well ... at least MacKenzie earns a first place. All I have to say is good luck to Maddie and Nia, who have to face the wrath of Abby after finishing in ninth and fourth place, respectively.
Next week, the team heads to the largest dance competition in the U.S., and hopefully the girls will get a great routine to impress Abby with. What did you think of tonight's episode? Did you like the silver spoons routine? Leave your comments and come back to BuddyTV next week for your Dance Moms
