FX has announced its midseason lineup, kicking off 2010 with the final season of Emmy and Golden Globe award winning drama Nip/Tuck on January 6, and the third season of the Emmy and Golden Globe award winning drama Damages on January 25.

Damages, which concluded last season with Patty recovering at home after being stabbed by Finn Garrity, Tom returning to Patty's firm, and Ellen with a new unrevealed job offer, returns with lead stars Glenn Close, Rose Byrne, Tate Donovan and Ted Danson. Just like past seasons, the third season of Damages will consist of 13 episodes, airing on a new night, Mondays, at 10PM ET/PT.

Nip/Tuck, on the other hand, moves on to its final season, with the last nine episodes of the seventh season to air consecutively on Wednesday nights at 10PM ET/PT. But before the FX landmark series bows out, Nip/Tuck will air its special 100th episode on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Joining lead stars Dylan Walsh, Julian McMahon, John Hensley and Joely Richardson this season are guest-stars Melanie Griffith, Joan Rivers, Mario Lopez, Frances Conroy, Donna Mills and Joan Van Ark.

Aside from Damages and Nip/Tuck, FX has also added several new shows for its midseason slate, including the new animated comedy Archer, premiering on Thursday, January 14, the new Timothy Olyphant drama Justified (formerly Lawman) which debuts in March, and the new Louis C.K. comedy entitled Louie, which will launch in the spring.
