Cult is coming! Are you ready for the CW's crazy new thriller?  The show will premiere on Tuesday, February 19 at 9 pm ET following Hart of Dixie and stars Matt Davis (The Vampire Diaries) as Jeff Sefton, Jessica Lucas (Melrose Place, Cloverfield) as Skye Yarrow, Alona Tal (Supernatural, The Killing) as Kelly Collins and Robert Knepper (Prison Break, Shameless) as Billy Grimm.

The show Cult on the CW is about a TV show-within-a-show also called Cult, which focuses on a cult organization headed by Billy Grimm and investigated by Detective Kelly Collins. The program has developed a fervent following of people who cosplay the characters, analyze episodes for clues, and live the series.

Jeff Sefton's brother, Nate, is a passionate follower of the show. When Nate goes missing, Jeff investigates his brother's disappearance and the clues lead him to the TV program. Jeff recruits Skye, a researcher on Cult, to help him.

Both Knepper (Roger Reeves/Billy Grimm) and Tal (Marti/Kelly Collins) play dual roles on the new show as actors on the show-within-a-show and the characters they portray.

The first time I watched the premiere episode, I was overwhelmed by the intricacies and at times found it confusing. After watching the hour a second time, I was completely drawn into the complex world that Rockne S. O'Bannon has created.

The CW has released the first Cult trailer.

"Well hey, these things just snap right off!"

What do you think? Freaky, right? Will you be checking it out in February? For more on the show, check out the premiere photos below.
