The 'CSI' Franchise Case File: Riley Gets Married, Another 'FNL' Star Guests, And A Couple More Spoilers
We weren't here last week, but never mind that--here's another round-up of the news that rocked the CSI world off screen, and perhaps on screen, too.  This week, we've got a marriage, a guest star, and a couple of spoilers.  But that's what you go here for, right?  Well... we'll see.  I must warn you, though.  The spoiler after the jump could ruin the experience.
Item one: Here comes the (Riley) bride... CSI newcomer Lauren Lee Smith--yep, Riley--got married early this month, to photographer Erik Steingroever.  Her representative told People that the two exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in the Canadian town of Cultus Lake, just 70 miles off Vancouver.  Family and close friends were the only folks in attendance.

Item two: Another Friday Night Lights takes a guest role.  Lights fans, radars ready: you know Mindy, right?  The sister of almost-forever undecided Tyra?  She's revealed recently that she's joining the CSI team as a guest for one episode, following the footsteps of Adrianne Palicki, whose guest appearance on CSI: Miami airs this Monday.

"I had the most fun on the show," she told CinemaBlend.  "I get to play the killer, and she--well, she's not actually a bad girl; she's just pretty stupid.  It was so much fun getting down and dirty and dragging dead bodies, and there's a huge fight.  My God, itn was so much fun."

Item three: A fairly big spoiler for CSI: NY.  You've been following the Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Lindsay (Anna Belknap) story, right?  He gets her pregnant, they ponder their future, they get married all of a sudden.  And then she disappeared, moving up to Montana to meet her parents, when the real Belknap took her maternity leave.

Well, she's coming back soon, on the episode airing May 6.  "Lindsay pops right back into work and, before you know it, she's in labor," executive producer Pam Veasey told Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello.  "You see her for a second and her water breaks.  We couldn't do anything else but bring her back and let her give birth."

Of course, Danny will be at Lindsay's side when she gives birth to a baby... girl.  "I won't tell you the name because we don't know if the audience will respond to it," Veasey said.
