CSI will be in reruns until April, because of NCAA basketball. However, we've got some details on the next new episode, which is entitled Empty Eyes. Fans of the Grissom and Sara romance will once again be delighted. We've also got some quick details of other events that may occur in the last few episodes of this season.
EOnline's Kristin Veitch has teased that the seventh season finale will reveal some secrets about nobody's favourite lab tech, David Hodges.
What we've got for you from
CSI's episode 7.18, "Empty Eyes," is details of the opening scene, as well as the closing scene, and a few tidbits in the middle. Warning: it's still possible that some of this may be cut or changed.
The episode, which mainly focuses on Sara's reactions to this case, opens with a bloody attack on some showgirls in their shared home. When the
CSIs arrive on the scene, Sara finds one of them under a bed, barely clinging to life. The victim scratches Sara accidentally, and later dies in Sara's arms before an ambulance arrives.
The victim, Cammie, first manages to share some last words with Sara that may be a clue to the case. Sara at first interprets them to be "pour wine," which leads them to examine a wine bottle with a Charlie's Angels-esque message on it. However, it turns out to be "port wine" that Cammie was trying to say – as in a port wine stain birthmark.
Warrick and Sara have a conversation about getting called in unexpectedly, and Sara says that her "date got cancelled." Sara and Grissom have apparently not revealed their personal relationship to their coworkers yet. But at the end of the episode, Sara is in the
CSI breakroom watching TV (possibly a news item on the case) and turns it off, crying. Grissom is with her, and takes her in his arms to comfort her.
As the airdate draws close we'll probably have more details for you, so stay tuned!
