The third week of September can be pretty much called CSI week.  It helps that CBS has decided to air the season premieres for all their fall shows in one week, so waiting for answers to whatever's happened to the teams in Las Vegas, Miami and New York isn't going to take that long, really.  And a lot's happening, too: a couple of new characters, a couple of returning characters, a couple of characters in the balance, and the usual crime investigations.

Now that CBS has given us photos from the season premieres of CSI, CSI: Miami and CSI: NY, we can give it to you in one fell swoop! Slideshows, photos, and questions galore, much like what I did when all three shows wrapped up their seasons a few months ago. You know the drill. Oh, and possible spoilers ahead, in case you haven't been reading up on all the spoilers I've been posting here over the past few weeks.












CSI: Miami: Episode 8.01 "Out of Time"
September 21, Monday, 10pm




What will happen: We look back to 1997, back to the infancy of the MDPD crime lab, as Delko's life hangs in the balance.

What questions did we leave: What exactly happened to Delko?  (The answer, of course, is that he's in a coma.)  Perhaps more interesting, how did life go twelve years ago?

What to watch out for: Khandi Alexander returns as Alexx Woods, and Eddie Cibrian begins his run as Jesse Cardoza.  So yes, I was a bit confused when I said he'll first show up on the second episode.  Everything will look deliciously retro in this episode: pagers, grim-looking offices, Tripp with hair...

CSI: NY: Episode 6.01 "Epilogue"
September 23, Wednesday, 10pm




What will happen: The team find out who was behind the drive-by shooting that changed the life of one of their own significantly.

What questions did we leave: Who is that member?  Some of you might know this already, but I think I can reveal that it's... nah, I'll keep it a secret for longer.  Or, if you really want to, check out the slideshow below.

What to watch out for: Sarah Carter debuts as Hayden Becall a clean up tech who wants to be a CSI thanks to, well, the interest the CSI shows gave her, more or less.  And, if my theory is right, I wanna see how Danny and Lindsay deal with things.

CSI: Episode 10.01 "Family Affair"
September 24, Thursday, 9pm




What will happen: A young actress dies under mysterious circumstances, but the most important bit is Sara's return.

What questions did we leave: What exactly happened between Grissom and Sara?  They say we should expect an exploration into that when the reunions begin.  Personally, though, my question is this: why will Riley leave the lab?

What to watch out for: CSI is, again, starting in a very low-key manner, so I'm hard-pressed for pointers here.  Say, maybe the first meeting between Sara and Langston?  Boy, I hope the other members don't get shunned here.
