I adore Gary, but who wouldn't???? He's so cute and sexy at the same time.
In the 10th episode of season 4, Taylor, who hails from Chicago, will be exploring some clues involving a mysterious stalker that will lead him back to his hometown. He travels to Chicago with Detective Don Flack (
Eddie Cahill) where he finds a dead body in empty room on an unused floor within a building. The local police eventually reveal that the guy died 30 years ago and that he had been buried and was recently dug up.
Another spoiler for this episode is that the dead body is identified as Joey Toole, a guy from Taylor's youth. It is later exposed that young Taylor and his friend Jimmy has been there when he died. Joey had been attacking Jimmy's brother Will, and was shot to death by Jimmy. Mac had the gun first but was frozen in fear and couldn't pull the trigger. Will was also killed.
Just like Taylor, Sinise also comes from Chicago and considers the similarity as a pleasant surprise.
“It was a surprise actually,” the
NY actor said. “They all know I'm from Chicago and we set up early on that my character was from Chicago. The writers came up with some really great ideas and thought it would be good to come back here and shoot and I was all for it.”
“We learn about some things that happened to [Taylor]—a little bit about his past—when he comes back looking for clues to this [stalker] thing has been going on,” Sinise, who's a founding member of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, added.
