Closure for the last season's cliffhangers will finally arrive tonight at 10pm when
CSI: NY returns for yet another run. After the explosive third season finale, continuation ensues with the biggest crime scene “that will keep you guessing all season long.”
Broadcast on CBS,
CSI: NY is a police procedural drama that follows an elite forensic unit in New York City as they employ scientific techniques and technology in their crime scene investigation. The show stars
Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor),
Melina Kanakaredes (Stella Bonasera),

Season 4 begins with a murder on one of the Big Apple's most famous landmarks. This puts the team on the race against time to save a musician from death at the hands of a vigilante killer.
The season opener, which is written by Zachary Reiter and Pam Veasey, and directed by David Don Ancken, will “reveal an interesting secret that launches a high level of drama in the first half of the season,” according to
CSI: NY creator Anthony Zuiker.
The first episode of the installment will also introduce Bess Whol, who will be joining the show as the new lab tech, Kendall Novak, and will be recurring in at least a few upcoming episodes.
In addition to the principle cast, the premiere episode will also feature Robert Joy as recurring character Dr. Sid Hammerback, as well as some guest stars like Hollie Stenson (Georgia Morrison), Erik Fellows (Charles Price), Kato James Bonner (Damion Brock), Alison Sudol (Nova Kent), Misha Collins (Morton Brite), Charlie Koznick (Anthony Colton) and Minta Allred (Marie Casimira) just to name a few.
