CSI: New York brings forth a new episode entitled “Buzzkill.”
Currently in its fourth season,
CSI: New York is a police procedural drama that follows a team of forensic scientists who serve the New York City Police Department as they explore mysterious and usual deaths. Leading the series is
Gary Sinise who plays Detective Mac Taylor. Helping him solve gruesome crimes and catch the bad guys are
Melina Kanakaredes as Det. Stella Bonasera,
Carmine Giovinazzo as Det. Danny Messer,
Hill Harper as Dr. Sheldon Hawkes,
Eddie Cahill as Det. Don Flack and
Anna Belknap as Det. Lindsay Monroe.

In the eighth episode of season 4, a supermodel is found dead in a giant martini glass on a Time Square billboard, prompting the CSI team to trail evidence in search of the party crasher.
“Buzzkill” is directed by Jeffrey Hunt and written by Jill Abbinanti. Aside from the principle ensemble, this episode features Scottie Thompson, Marc Manard and
Kerr Smith.
Thompson, who is set to portray Lia Ramsey on
CSI: New York, is known for Jeanne Benoit on
Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service. She is also credited for her roles on
Brotherhood, Shark and
CSI: Miami.
Smith of
Dawson's Creek fame will appear as Drew Bedford, while Manard, who is credited for
All My Children and
Watch Over Me, will appear as Damien Barnes.
Also reprising their roles in this episode are Robert Joy, who plays the off-the-charts medical examiner Dr. Sid Hammerback, AJ Buckley as the jack-of-all-trades lab tech Adam Ross and Emmanuelle Vaugier as Detective Jessica Angell.
