Rex Linn was born on November 13, 1956 in Ochiltree County. Previously he worked in a bank and in an oil company. After several auditions, he landed roles on shows like Night Game, Young Riders, My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys, Sniper, Raven, Northern Exposure and Thunderheart. At present, he plays Frank Tripp in the television show CSI: Miami. Detective Frank Tripp got interested in the crime world as he got hooked up in crime novels when he was a child. He is described to be street smart when it comes to fighting crime. His dreams as a child finally became a reality as he joined the Miami-Dade.
