With only a week to go before the return of
CSI: Miami on CBS’ Monday primetime line-up, actress Eva La Rue seems to have good reason to look forward to her return as part of the popular series. The 40-year old California native recently spoke to the
National Ledger about what’s in store for her character on the new season of
CSI: Miami.
La Rue has played DNA lab expert, Natalia Boa Vista, on
CSI: Miami since the 2005-2006 offering. She recently told the
Ledger that her character is up for a couple of exciting changes when the series returns for its sixth season on September 24.
"I get a love interest," La Rue confided. "I'm not sure how much of a love interest it's going to be, but we're going to get some new characters, and a couple of people on the show will end up being in love."
She goes on to provide a bit of an overview as to how her possible romance will come about, which brings us to the other milestone in Natalia Boa Vista’s story. Natalia will be working to become a full-fledged member of the Miami forensic team in the upcoming installment of the show. Her efforts to complete the necessary requirements will lead to a chance encounter with a potentially significant figure.
"I'm trying to pass my firearms qualifications so I can carry a gun like the rest of them, but I'm really a bad shot - and evidently that's where this [love interest] comes into play. He's going to be my coach," the actress explained.
