Just in time for Halloween,
CSI: Miami will be airing a spooky episode that revolves around some bizarre occurrences. Prepare to explore the uncanny on the episode entitled “Sunblock.”

As usual, forensic scientists of the Miami-Dade Police Department, consisting of Lieutenant Horatio Caine (
David Caruso), Calleigh Duquesne (
Emily Procter), Eric Delko (
Adam Rodriguez), Dr. Alexx Woods (
Khandi Alexander), Ryan Wolfe (
Jonathan Togo), Det. Sgt. Frank Tripp (
Rex Linn), and Natalia Boa Vista (
Eva LaRue), are set to bring their best game on to unveil the circumstances behind mysterious crimes and unusual deaths committed. But in the sixth episode of
CSI: Miami, eerie things begin to plague the CSI team as they hunt down a serial killer who struck during a total eclipse of the sun.
Making her
CSI: Miami directorial debut is Christine Moore, who has previously directed three episodes of
CSI: NY. She is credited for
NY's “Down the Rabbit Hole,” “What Schemes May Come,” and “Raising Shane.” Aside from working on the
CSI franchise, she has also worked on episodes of
The Wire, Jericho, and
Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Fans can expect “Sunblock” to be jam-packed with guest stars like Tyler Hoechlin (Shawn Hodges), David Lee (Nicholas Pike), Jay Haggis (Ronnie Temple), Fiona Loewi (Diana Long), Christopher Michael Rivera (Mario Montero), James Jordan (Clint Gilmore), Janelle Velasquez (Carla), and Julianna Guill (Kelly).
Among these guest stars, three have already graced the
CSI franchise in the past. Both Velasquez and Guill have appeared on
Miami's “Darkroom” during season 5, while Jordan has previously appeared on
CSI's “Shooting Stars.”
Also featured on the forensic drama are Boti Bliss, Johnny Whitworth and Jessica Szohr, who will be reprising their established recurring roles as Maxine Valera, Jake Berkeley and Samantha Barrish respectively.
