Tonight's fresh
CSI: Miami tackles the case of wedding-set murder.
In tonight's episode entitled “You May Now Kill the Bride,” Horatio Caine (
David Caruso) and his team of crime scene investigators take on a murder case that begins at a wedding, but eventually leads them to a strip joint. Aside from Caruso,
Emily Procter is back as Calleigh Duquesne, along with
Adam Rodriguez as Eric Delko,
Khandi Alexander as Alexx Woods,
Jonathan Togo as Ryan Wolfe,
Rex Linn as Detective Frank Tripp and Eva La Rue as Natalia Boa Vista. David Lee Smith also returns as Rick Stetler.
"We have a wedding and a murder and a baseball player," writer/producer Sunil Nayar remarked. "We dive into everything that Miami is that is sexy and dark and fun. So our goal is to bring not just the characters back, but the whole show, in the first episode."
"The soul of this episode is a good, solid, old-fashioned
CSI: Miami mystery,” Barry O'Brien, who wrote tonight's story, added. “The teaser is a high-profile wedding, and a young bride is cut down right before she says, 'I do.' There's blood on the white dress, blood on the veil. Every one of our CSIs connects to this victim. To me, that makes the best episodes of
CSI: Miami, when our crime-scene investigators are all connected to solving the crime because of an emotional resonance with this tragedy."
Tonight's guests include Rich McDonald as Greg Tanner, Warren Kole as Russell Brooks, Jarrod Ray Bunch as Duane Cross, Brook Kerr as Lexa Knowles, Torrey DeVitto as Kelly Chapman, Jelly Howie as Susan Alston, David Hunt Stafford as Minister, Fabiana Udenio as Amanda Ravarro and Ken Marino as Alan Farris.
