Annette, 44, is the mother of Alana, 19. She is from Hayward, California. They have no previous pageant experience.

In the
first week , Alana and Annette decided to call themselves Silent But Deadly. In their
exclusive interview , Alana claims that she knew all along that their chosen moniker referred to silent but smelly farts, but the judges uniformly did not like their name. Consequently, they changed their name in the
second week to the Realists. They were eliminated in the second week because Carson Kressley thought their exercise routine was too much like a Rocky II marathon. They were de-sashed by the Tomboy Queens, Pamela and Felicia.
