crownedIn true pageant style, Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants culminated last Wednesday with a series of competitions (swimsuit, evening gown, talent contest, as well as an interview).  What started out as 10 mother-daughter pairs were eventually narrowed down each week to make way for the team that most deserves to win the tiaras and the $100,000 cash prize.  And after eight episodes, The Daredevil Divas, consisting of 51-year-old Moya and 25-year-old Jenileigh, were finally declared winners of the beauty contest.

Now, viewers have yet another season to look forward to as The CW conducts a nationwide search for another batch of hot moms and daughters who will compete as teams in an all expense paid and one of a kind beauty pageant.

Currently in the final selection process in Los Angeles, California, Crowned seeks to enlist mothers and daughters who would kill for an opportunity to relive past pageant glory days.  On the other hand, the show is also on the look out for participants with the brains, talents and looks despite not having any amount of pageant experience.

For those who are interested, you can visit The CW's website where specific rules and instructions for the competitive reality series are posted.  Each aspiring participant must be at least 18 years of age and must complete a separate application form.  Together with the application form, contestants must also submit a video of both members of the team describing yourself, citing your reason for joining the show, and explaining what separates your team from the rest of the participants.

No details have been disclosed for the upcoming season, although viewers can expect the new season to have a similar idea to the pilot season where the winners took home some tiaras and a $100,000 cash prize.  Season 1 featured Carson Kressley (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy), Miss USA 1995 Shanna Moakler (Dancing with the Stars) and television personality Cynthia Garrett.
